The Bible says render your heart and not your garment. Thus pastor has passed her place. If she can't accept a sinner in her church she needs to stop preaching. There is no perfect person.
i do not think it was okay. she could drive her point home without making a public display of the body of a fellow woman. now how does that help that individual? personal, friendly, decent conversation would suffice in my opinion.. .
