Akpos Village: Hello beauty queen, may we meet you?
Queen Mirian: Hi, I'm Mirian Orji, a Nigerian, from Anambra state, Nnewi to be precise. I'm a model 'nd a writer .

Akpos Village: wow, hol'on. Did I hear you say Anambra state, how did you win Most beautiful girl in Asaba?
Queen Mirian: Haha, everybody keeps asking that question. Well from the title, the pageant was open to all females in Asaba and I was in Asaba as at the time of the contest. So you don't have to be from Asaba to contest. So long as you in Asaba, you can contest.

Akpos Village: Ok, cleared. Have you had any challenge in modeling so far considering the fact that you are not skinny?
Queen Mirian: Hahaha, modeling ain't for skinny people. It is something you have passion for besides people do not really understand modeling very well. It has so many categories and it depends on the one you want to go for that suits your body type. There's pageantry, there's runway for skinny people, there's fashion show, editorials that's about your pretty face etc. A real model understands this but I know one thing about a model; they never stay out of shape even if you are a plus size.

Akpos Village: You are very beautiful and you speak with so much wisdom and intelligence. What gives you so much confidence?
Queen Mirian: thanks a lot. Actually knowing I'm still in shape gives me much confidence. I just know that I'm beautiful the way God made me and that's enough confidence for me.

Akpo's Village: Has anyone in the modeling industry tried to take advantage of you?
Queen Mirian: No, not at all. Desperation can attract that to you and I'm never desperate for anything. I can't do what I can't live with all my life. I'm someone that thinks a lot because I write and I wouldn't want my thoughts to be filled with regrets so no one has ever taken advantage of me nd by the grace of God, no one will.

Akpo's Village: who's your role model?
Queen Mirian: it's Tyra Banks. Ever since I found out that we share some history, i've always loved her. She never gave up. I also love Queen Irene Onwuka. She's my friend and she's very strong.

Akpo's Village: You laugh a lot really? Because you laugh at almost every question you are asked
Queen Mirian: lol, I won't say I laugh a lot. It's just that I try as much as I can to be happy always, yeah.

Akpo's Village: what's is your aspiration in life?
Queen Mirian: it's to touch lives. To help and motivate people. I feel blessed knowing I'm a role model to so many people. So I want to be remembered when I'm no more for people I helped to actualize the dreams/goals.

Akpos Village: what advice do you have for your fans, youths and upcomings models even your haters?
Queen Mirian: lol, I love all my fans. They motivate me to do more and i'll try as much as I can to be interactive with them as I get bigger in life. To all the youths, please live your dreams and let no one discourage you. Please do not forger God. To all models both made and upcoming, know that someone looks up to you. Do not fail them. Know your purpose in the industry. To my haters, God bless you and keep you alive to be big in life. My prayer everyday is "Lord, if I have not planned evil for anyone, whatever evil someone else plans for me is in vain".

 Akpo's village: ok, the last question.. What would you want from your man?
Queen Mirian: lol, this question. I love to be pampered. That's all I can say. I know I'm a baby but I'm grown lol.

Akpo's Village: So as the first beauty queen of Asaba, you are looking forward to a successor this year?
Queen Mirian: yes, but we making it bigger so we going for Miss Delta Universe this year.
