A 40 –year-old-man, Emeka Oguzie, has been remanded in prison custody for allegedly inserting his finger into the private part of his 7-year-old daughter (names with held).
A Lagos State Magistrate Court sitting in Ogba in the Ikeja Magisterial District of the state gave the remand order during its sitting in which the allegation was leveled against the defendant.
According to the prosecution, the suspect committed the alleged offence at Suite 37, Ojokoro Housing Estate, Meiran in the Ikeja Magisterial District.
The two count charge prepared against the defendant read: “That you Emeka Okuzie, sometime in September 2015, did, unlawfully and indecently, deal with one (names with held) 7-year-old by manipulation her and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 135 (1 and 2) of the Criminal Law II,Vol 44 Laws of Lagos State Nigeria, 2011.
The prosecution further alleged that the defendant conducted himself in a manner likely to cause breach of the peace in the area. His plea was not taken.
The court also docked Abiodun Fashola, 33, for allegedly harassing a 12-year-old girl (names also with held) by leaking her private part with his tongue.
The prosecution revealed that the suspect committed the alleged offence at 11:00hrs on September 3 at No 44, Adewale Adeogun Street, Karonel Estate, Ogba, Lagos.
It further alleged that the defendant detained his victim against her wish, touched her sexually and attempted To Molest her; offences punishable under Sections 270, 261, 262 and 404, Vol 44 of Criminal Laws of Lagos State, Nigeria, 2011.
